Sabresite has just released Legit Check vB33. This version fixes a trash byte bug and adds support for Korean trash byte sequences.
I've just installed a new skin on the forums called Glacier. In my opinion, the usability of the forum is greatly improved with this new skin. Besides, the entire site is now effectively free of that ugly tiled Piplup background. Here is a screenshot of the new theme:
Although all users now use this skin by default, if you happen to dislike it, you can always change back to the old one in your User Control Panel. Keep in mind, however, that the old skin will no longer be supported. If you are having technical problems, feel free to send me a PM.
If you haven't already, this is an excellent opportunity to register at the forums and become a part of our community. We are growing at an extremely fast pace and we're already nearing our 1000th member!
Sabresite has just released vB30 vB31 of his legitimacy checking program, Legit Check. This update discloses more information about trash byte checking, including country of origin and Pal Park country, and is more effective in detecting Pal Park Pokémon with invalid trash bytes.
Small update: Version vB31 fixes a bug with Japanese Pal Park Pokémon. Please re-download.

Fenzo666 has just updated the event database with two more rare mystery gift events: the Japanese 2008 Tanabata Jirachi (dated August 18, 2008) and the Spanish ALAMOS MOVIPLAYA Darkrai (dated August 22, 2008). These are exclusive events now available for download on the Pokémon Database!

Again, read the full story for more information about these events.
The much-anticipated WORLD08 Lucario wonder card has been uploaded to the event database thanks to Batman_begs from our forums. This Lucario was officially given out during the 2008 Pokémon Video Game Showdown, but is now available for download here at the database.

As you will notice, I've updated the entire website's look and feel. Now it doesn't (quite) look like it was designed by a ten-year-old anymore, and it should conform to standards a bit better. I finally got rid of those annoying scroll bars, too! Apart from the major aesthetic changes, I have also reviewed the content of the guide and have slightly revised it to keep up with new information. Also, I have added a small Pokémod section to the guide. It is still being decided whether Pokémod will have its own website.
